At Firefly Farm and Forest, we believe in the power of outdoor learning for children. Our programs provide unique opportunities for children and adults to connect with the land and learn from within their natural environment.
Services
✨️NEW✨️ Forest Friends Half Day Program
Beginning September 15th, we will offer a 10 week HALF DAY drop-off program with the option of either AM(9:00-12:30) or PM(1:00-4:30).
Forest Friends will be using a child-led approach to encourage our youngest learners to deep dive into interests that develop within our environment.
There will be opportunities to explore fort and structure building, the creation station and mud kitchens, environmental stewardship, the forest and the creek, and observe the seasons changing in meaningful ways.
Homeschool Wednesdays
Homeschool Mondays: Parents can engage with their children (5 years to 12 years) every Friday to develop a deeper understanding of the importance of outdoor education, build a relationship with the land, and explore in multiple outdoor settings. BEGINS SEPTEMBER 17TH
Drop-In Tuesdays
Don't want to commit to a full session? Want to try us out to ensure we are the right fit for your child? Just want to see what we are all about? Join us Tuesdays at 10:30am to 12:00pm for a drop in session priced at just $15/family. We will explore the farm and its amenities, partake in offerings such as art experiences, wood working/carving, mud kitchen and sensory opportunities and more! BEGINS SEPTEMBER 16TH
Nature Playgroup (Parent and Tot)
Nature Playgroup: Join us with your children (12 months to 5 years) every Saturday to explore in a new setting, experience the natural elements that our land has to offer, and engage with other families along the way. BEGINS SEPTEMBER 20th
✨️NEW✨️ Nature Navigators Full Day
Children 7+ can join us beginning September 19th for a 10 week program filled with exploration of both the farm and the forest.
Are you looking for your children to DITCH the DESK one day a week? Do you want them to spend more time outdoors, and engage with the land while making meaningful connections with their peers? You've come to the right place!
Our child-led program will give children the opportunity to engage in a variety of outdoor activities such as learning survival skills, foraging and plant life, rock mining and geology, map making and navigation, and so much more.
Firefly Day Camp: Children 5 to 12 can engage in a variety of outdoor activities both on the farm and in the Forest. Day camps will operate for Summer, March Break, and PD days.
